Arcola Lake Elementary is a five-star school.  With that heartfelt belief and the commitment to providing a quality education to all students, our school will become a professional learning community for everyone. We value the contributions of all stakeholders:  administrators, faculty, staff, students, parents, and business partners.  “It takes a village.”

As the new principal of Arcola Lake Elementary School , it gives me great pleasure to return home; to return to place where I began my career as a kindergarten teacher over 20 years ago.  During my sojourn in the middle school setting for the past seven years, I have built capacity for a wealth of experiences and skills that I bring back to the elementary setting.   

I feel confident in my ability to enable students and teachers to bridge the gap between the elementary and middle school experience; and to possess a global perspective of education in our society.  I endeavor to provide students and teachers with the skills and training necessary to generate successful students as they prepare to leave Arcola Lake Elementary.

While I make no misleading promises, I will say that my passion for education, love of children, quest for excellence, and the resolve to motivate and develop people, will be evident as I dare to lead change and sustain continuous school improvement.
